Research
I
am mainly interested in Natural Language Processing with specific
applications to Turkish. These days I am working on statistical
machine translation between English and Turkish and developing
NLP-based application for language learning. See the web page of
Human Language and Speech Processing Laboratory at Sabanci
University for more information. Also check out the BalkaNet
Dictionary based on the WordNets for Balkan languages
developed in the Balkanet Project. The BalkaNet
Dictionary will translate to/from Turkish, Greek, Bulgarian,
Romanian, Serbian and English; coverage may vary.
