Haziran 2011'de yurtlar çevresinde 5 yavrusu ile bulundu. Hepsinin durumu çok kötü olduğu için veterinerde bir süre kalıp tedavi oldular. Pastel sonrasında kısırlaştırıldı ve iyileştikten sonra kampüse geri bırakıldı. Yavruların hayatta kalan ikisi sahiplendirildi. Pastel yurtlar çevresinde bulunur.
She was found with her 5 kittens around the dorms in June 2011. Both the mom and the kittens were in bad condition, so they were taken to the vet to get treated. She was spayed and released back to the campus afterwards. 2 of the kittens survived and were adopted. Pastel hangs out around the dorms area.
