I have been living and teaching English in Istanbul since 2000. I am married to Çağla and have one son, Aslan. I love teaching and am very happy to be part of the team at Sabancı University.

In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family, and I'm also an avid amateur composer, creating my own music. Also, like any sane male on this planet, I am quite partial to the game of football, and strongly recommend supporting Bradford City.
