effects of crystal anisotropy on the elastocaloric effect in ferroic oxides.

Sarand, Ph.D. 2023 in Manufacturing Engineering,
worked on physics based crystal
plasticity finite element method to analyze deformation behavior of alloys
(co-advised with Dr.Eralp Şimşek of KTMM Sabancı Univ., now at University
of Oxford).
Sirous Khabbazkenar, Ph.D. 2021 in Materials Science and
Engineering.
Sirous is working as a post-doc in our group (co-advised
with Dr. Yılmaz Şimşek of SUNUM) as a characterization
specialist and researcher. Now at SUNY as post-doc.
Neslihan Şişman, M.Sc. 2022 (B.Sc.
degree in Materials Science and Nanoengineering),
worked on growth and characterization of MoO3
thin films for chemiresistive sensing.
Dr. Barış Okatan, researcher (Ph. D. in
Materials Science and Engineering), worked on thermodynamics of electrocaloric
response of relaxor ferroic solid solutions.
Currently assistant professor at İzmir Institute of
Technology.
Omid Mohammadmoradi, defended his Ph.D. thesis in January
of 2021, co-advised with Prof. Gözde İnce, M. Sc. (2017).
Thesis subject: iCVD growth and characterization of high
capacitance, compositionally graded PVDF films for flexible electronics.
Currently works at TETACAM.
Canhan Şen, defended his Ph.D. thesis in August of
2018.
Thesis subject: Spin dependent screening at
ferroelectric/ferromagnet interfaces, local density of states and finite size
effects.
Co-founder of the spin-off TETACAM.
