Professor Haksöz is a faculty member in the
Operations & Information Systems Management group at Faculty of Management, Sabancı
University, İstanbul,
His research
and consulting expertise lies in the areas of risk management in global supply
networks, design and management of procurement contracts with options, empirical studies in supply chain management,
operational risk
management, and risk intelligence. He teaches topics such as operations management, supply
chain management, and supply chain risk management in various executive education programs such
as Myglobe-
Managing Your Global Enterprises, TURQUALITY®.
Before joining Sabancı University, Professor Haksöz
has taught at New York University,
Stern School of Business, Cass Business School,
City University of London,
UK, and New York University in London. He holds a PhD and MPhil in
Operations Management from New York
University, Stern School of Business and BSc in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University,
Turkey.
