Openings for 1 Post Doctoral Research Associate, 3 Ph.D.(Experience on both thermal-fluids and microfabrication is a big plus!) and 3 M.S. students (with experience on thermal-fluids) for Spring 2024 are available for the following interdisciplinary and cutting edge research activities:


- Design, characterize, and fabricate new generation microfluidic systems
- Cavitation on a Chip devices - Investigate of heat and fluid flow and phase change (cavitation, boiling, condensation) in new generation micro heat fluidic systems with enhanced surfaces
- Miniaturize heat sinks to micro scale to accomplish ultra-high heat flux cooling for thermal management of microsystems
- Thermal management solutions - Study and model micro/nano scale cavitating flows in biomedical and energy applications and multiphase flows on mixed wettability surfaces -Develop new generation biomedical devices
