I am a member of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabancı University, Turkey. My work is focused on Bayesian Statistics, Monte Carlo methods, and data privacy.
I received my BSc and MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Boğaziçi University, Turkey, and my PhD in Mathematical Statistics, University of Cambridge.
I did my postdoctoral studies between 2013 and 2015 at the University of Bristol, School of Mathematics, where I was involved in the EPSRC-funded research project called Intractable Likelihood: New Challenges from Modern Applications (i-like).
