The physical properties like crystallization, melting, burning, oxidation and phase transition reactions of the materials in a temperature range from RT to 1500C can be analyzed by detection of increase or decrease in mass under various gas atmospheres. The decomposition products can also be analyzed in connection with FTIR via thermal heating till 200C.
